Shania Twain has been absent for some time from the music industry and the public. Her last album Up! was released in 2002, and she’s been trying to recover since her divorce in 2008. It hasn’t been an easy time for Shania, but now she’s ready to get back with her own reality TV show.
"I feel like in a way I'm starting over, with everything," Twain, 44, told Winfrey in an interview at an event in New York on Thursday. "This is a very personal experience that I think is important to share. This is an experience of recovery. I was in a very deep, dark slump, and I needed to find a way to get myself out of it. I had to force myself back out into life, back out into experiencing things." (People.com)
It will be a portrayal of her current life and her attempts to return to her music career. Recently, she also launched her own fragrance collection and has been conducting interviews for a Canadian radio station.
There hasn’t been an official date yet announced for the new reality show, however it will probably start before the end of the year.
