Madonna's "Sticky & Sweet" tour leads at number one on top 10 highest-grossing tour of 2008 in North America. Kicked off in August and wrapped up in November, the Live Nation-produced roadshow garnered $105.3 million in North America and more than $208 million worldwide!
Arthur Fogel, Live Nation's Chairman of Global Music and CEO of Global Touring, says that the tour's success has put Madonna as "one of the top selling touring artists of all time." He explains, "Not only will this tour be the top selling tour of all time for a solo artist and a female artist (eclipsing her own record), but it will position her as one of the top selling touring artists of all time."
